three-part text study series titled
"Private Women/Public Prayer,"
tracing the evolution of the role
of Jewish women in communal
prayer and ritual. This class will
meet at Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses on Jan. 16, 23 and 30, from
10:30 a.m. to noon. The tuition
fee is $15 for members of BAHM
and B'nai Moshe, $18 for others.
Starting Monday, Jan. 20, Rab-
bi Bergman will lead an eight-
part text study series titled "Was
Cinderella Jewish? Jewish Folk-
lore from the Talmud to Today."
This class will meet at B'nai
Moshe, 10 to 11 a.m. The tuition
is $28 for members of the spon-
soring congregations; $45 for oth-
ers.
On Tu B'Shevat (Thursday,
Jan. 23), Rabbi Bergman will
lead a Tu B'Shevat Adult Learn-
ing Seder at BAHM from noon to
1:30 p.m. The charge is $7, which
includes light lunch, seder re-
freshments, and study materials.
Prepaid reservations must be
made by Jan. 20. Beginning
Thursday, Feb. 6, Ruth Bergman
will lead an eight-part study se-
ries titled "Why Is This Book Dif-
ferent? Understanding the
Passover Haggadah." This class
will meet at B'nai Moshe on
Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to
noon. The fee is $40 for members
of the two sponsoring congrega-
tions; $56 for others. On Monday,
Feb. 10, Ruth Bergman will lead
a Rosh Chodesh study session in
honor of the new Hebrew month
of Adar 1. This session will be
hosted by BAHM. There is no
charge.

Holds Meeting
The next meeting of the South-
field-Oak Park Parkinson Sup-
port Group will be held 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Trow-
bridge Apartments.
This month's meeting will be
a rap session to discuss concerns
for the year ahead. Information
on the pilot Day Care Study,
starting in January, will be giv-
en.

second of four talks on the theme
"The World of Orthodoxy" 8:30
p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at the tem-
