The Workmen's Circle/Arbeter
Ring will host Alicia Blumen-
feld, who will speak on "A Teen-
ager's View of the Concentration
Camps" 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5,
at the Workmen's Circle Edu-
cational Building, 26341
Coolidge, Oak Park.
Miss Blumenfeld, a graduate
of the Workmen's Circle Sunday
School, participated in the
"March for the Living" last sum-
mer with 6,000 other teen-agers
and toured four camps and War-
saw and Krakow.

JCC Plans
For Children

The Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center has expanded its
school-break programming. The
Center will offer organized
recreational activities, sports,
entertainment and field trips for
elementary age children during
conference, holiday and other
school break periods.
On Friday and Monday, Jan.
17 and 20, the Center will
offer Take a Break at the "J"
from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
with extended care available.
Registration per day is $35 for
JCC members; $45 for non-
members.

Elects Board

Yad Ezra, the only kosher food
pantry in Michigan, recently held
elections for its officers and board
of directors. Elected to the Exec-
utive Committee for 1997 were
Jeffrey Appel, president; Michael
