FAY HARRISON of South-
field, died Dec. 24. Mrs. Harri-
son was the assistant to the
president at Hostess Cupcakes
and she ate the very first
Twinkie. In the 1960s, she was
the owner of Harrison Luggage.
Mrs. Harrison was a member of
Northwest Child Rescue.
She is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Robert
and Elaine of West Bloomfield;
daughter, Phyllis Tabor of Del-
mar, Calif.; grandchildren,
Wendy and Tony Jonas, Antho-
ny Tabor, Linda Harrison;
great-granddaughter, Jennifer;
sister and brother-in-law, Ruth
and Joe Shriman of Southfield;
brother and sister-in-law, Er-
win "Fitz" and Lucille Green of
San Diego; sister-in-law, An-
nette Green. Mrs. Harrison was
the beloved wife of the late Alec
H. Harrison and the dear sister
of the late Max Green.

Bloomfield, died Dec. 23. Mrs.
Lakind was a department man-
ager of jewelry sales at Siegels.
She was past president of the
Ladies of the Mosaic Lodge
F&AM, past president of bowl-
ing of Ladies of the Mosaic and
a member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Lakind is survived by
her sons and daughters-in-law,

Barry and Suzy of Bloomfield
Hills, Arnie and Susie Lakeyn
of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter
and son-in-law, Francine and

Matthew Lakeyn; sisters, Ida

Lakind was the beloved wife of
the late Sol P. Lakind; the lov-
ing mother of the late Ernest

on the housekeeping staff at St.
Joseph Hospital. She was a

Hadassah.
Mrs. Portnoff is survived by
her sister, Goldie Klein of De-
troit; sister-in-law, Clara Sey-
mour of Wyomissing, Pa. She
was the beloved wife of the late
Joseph Portnoff.

ALICE RAFAL, 74, of Farm-
ington Hills, died Dec. 27. Mrs.
Rafal was a retired librarian
