Drs. Edward and Gail Lichten of
Bloomfield Hills are pleased to
announce the engagement of
their son, Jason Brett, to Rachel
Lynne Gordon, daughter of Can-
tor Joshua and Marilyn Gordon
of Glenside, Penn.
Both Jason and Rachel
earned their undergraduate de-
grees with honors from Brandeis
University in Waltham, Mass.

Jason is a third-year medical
student at Thomas Jefferson
University in Philadelphia.
Rachel, a graduate of the Col-
lege of Law at the University of
Pennsylvania, is a practicing at-
torney with the law firm Fox,
Rothchild, O'Brien and Frankel
in Philadelphia.
A May 1997 wedding is
planned in Philadelphia.

Pamela Elyse Kunick and
Mitchell Ivan Cohen were re-
cently married at Congregation
Beth Achim in Southfield. Rabbi
Herbert Yoskowitz, Cantor Max
Shimansky and Reverend Joseph
Baras officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Sandy Kunick Hack of Farm-
ington. Hills and the late Fred
Kunick. The groom is the son of
Jody and Abe Cohen of Los An-
geles.
The maid of honor was
Stephanie Shapiro. Other brides-
maids included Carrie Cohen, sis-
ter of the groom, Irene Kiefer and
Pat Mitchell. The best man was
Neal Roston. Other groomsmen
included Michael Kunick, broth-

er of the bride, Marc Goldsmith
and Brian Salmonson. Pamela is
a graduate of the University of
Michigan and she earned her
master of business administra-
tion from Harvard University.
She is employed as a marke
executive at Buena Vista Home
Video, a division of the Walt Dis-
ney Studios. Mitchell is a gradu-
ate of the University of California
at Santa Barbara and he received
his law degree from the Univer-
sity of Pacific: McGeorge School
of Law. He practices at the Los
Angeles law firm of Tharpe &
Howell.
The couple honeymooned in
Florida and Jamiaca; they reside
in Los Angeles.
