Cheese balls are usually first on my list. I usually make my own, preparing them a few days in ad- vance. But you also can "cus- tomize" a store-bought cheese ball by pouring some Indian Chutney or Madras Curry sauce over the cheese before serving. Look for these toppings in the gourmet sec- tions of most food stores. Dips are my No. 2 se- lection. They're sim- ple to make from scratch and easy to serve. It is said that cer- tain foods and snacks are packed with the nutrients that stimulate brain func- tion and make you feel your best.
