Lindsey-Kaplan

Dr. Donald Kaplan and Barbara
Lindsey were married recently
at Temple Beth El. Rabbi Daniel
Syme and Cantor Harold Or-
bach officiated.
Barbara is the daughter of
Mary Rizzuto of Troy and the
late Frank Rizzuto. Dr. Kaplan
is the son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Sam Kaplan.
Lillian Kendall of Arlington
Heights, Ill., sister of the bride,
was matron of honor. Morton
Kaplan of West Bloomfield,
brother of the groom, was best
man. The bride's sons, Brian and
Mark Lindsey, walked their

mother down the aisle. Michelle
Kaplan, daughter of the groom,
was a junior bridesmaid.
Dr. Kaplan was recently pro-
moted to colonel in the United
States Army Reserve. He was
assigned to the 323rd Combat
Support Hospital in Germany.
He was deployed as part of Op-
eration Joint Endeavor. He is
medical director of the Urgent
Care Facility at McPherson Hos-
pital in Howell.
A Caribbean cruise honey-
moon is planned for a later
date. The couple reside in Com-
merce.
