al fund-raising dinner recently at
B'nai Moshe. More than 200 pa-
trons attended the event. Gila
Almagor, Israel's best-known ac-
tress and author, was the keynote
speaker. Ernie Curtis, Mel
Kepes and Agi Rubin wel-
comed the guests. The honorees
were Mr. and Mrs. Werner Os-
ten; Richard Roth was the mas-
ter of ceremonies. Funds raised
by the Michigan branch help fi-
nance cancer-fighting equipment
in Israel.

The recent grand opening of
Aveda in the Somerset Collection
was celebrated by HAVEN sup-
porters, who accepted a $10,000
donation during the opening fes-
tivities.
