Linn-Schreck

Sheryl Marla Linn, formerly of
Southfield, and Jerald Joel
Schreck were recently married
at La Posada Resort in Paradise
Valley, Ariz. Rabbi Serge Lippe
of Temple Solel officiated the cer-
emony.
The bride was escorted to the
chupah by her parents, Debby
and Al Linn of Scottsdale, Ariz.,
formerly of Southfield. The
groom's parents, Janice and
Michael Kriegel of Woodland
Hills, Calif., and Fred and Kar-
ralyn Schreck of Selinsgrove, Pa.,
participated in the ceremony.
The bride and groom were priv-
ileged to have their three grand-
mothers, Gertrude Linn of
Skokie, Ill., Sophie Robinson of
Camarillo, Calif., and Eva
Schreck of Seal Beach, Calif., also
participate in this simcha.
Honoring Sheri were the maid

of honor, Elissa Gartenberg, and
bridesmaids Lori Friedson; Tam-
mi Goldberg; Melanie Linn and
Lara Linn, sisters-in-law of the
bride. Danielle Britany Linn,
niece of the bride, was the flower
girl. Cousins Randi Gartenberg,
Lori Gartenberg, Beth Linn and
Sabrina Robinson were atten-
dants. Honoring Jerry were the
best man, Glenn Sands; and
groomsmen, Marc Victor; Kiko
Moscol; Gregg Linn and Michael
Linn, brothers of the bride.
Joseph Schreck, brother of the
groom, and Adam Robinson,
cousin of the groom, were ush-
ers. The ketubah was signed by
Susan and Sydney Gartenberg.
The bride and groom honey-
mooned in Maui, Hawaii and
Disneyland. The couple now re-
side in their home in Phoenix,
Ariz.

Friedman-Mandell

Melanie Beth Friedman and
Michael Alan Mandell were re-
cently married in Cleveland, Ohio.
The bride, daughter of Merle
and Kay Sobol of Bainbridge,
Ohio, and granddaughter of Ben
and Garnette Friedman of Beach-
wood, Ohio, earned a bachelor of

arts degree from Ohio State Uni-

versity. The groom, son of Jerry
and Bea Mandell of West Bloom-
field, earned his bachelor of sci-
ence and medical degrees from the
University of Michigan and com-
pleted his residency in ophthal-
mology at the University of
Pittsburgh. Dr. Mandell practices
in Livonia.
