Youth Bowling
For Charity

A community-wide Chanukah
Youth Bowl-a-Thon for Charity
for all Washtenaw County Jew-
ish middle-schoolers will be 6-10
‘) p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, starting
at Beth Israel Congregation.
Pledges collected in advance
by the sixth- to eighth-graders
for the bowl-a-thon will be do-
nated to the HIV Resource Cen-
ter in Ypsilanti to help in their
efforts to bring the AIDS Quilt
to Washtenaw County where it
will be displayed at the Univer-
sity of Michigan Track and Ten-
nis Building, Feb. 6-9.
Middle-schoolers will meet at
Beth Israel for a Havdalah ser-
vice. Lighting of the Chanukah
candles and games will follow.
The evening's activities will
continue at the Ypsi-Arbor
Lanes, 2985 Washtenaw. Parent
volunteers are needed for trans-
‘72, portation from Beth Israel Con-
gregation. Pick-up by parents at
Ypsi-Arbor Lanes is 10 p.m.
