Jewish War Veterans
Honor Mr. Kraizman

COMMUNITY

Temple Beth El Brotherhood fall blood
drive, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 1 at
the temple.

Jack Kraizman, attorney and 52-year member and judge advocate
emeritus of the Jewish War Veterans, will be presented with the
JVVV National Award of Merit at a special ceremony 9 a.m. Sat-
urday, Nov. 30, at B'nai David Synagogue.
The event, held in conjunction with the 100th anniversary year
activities of JWV, will include presentations by State Comman-
der Iry Marshall and National Committeeman Milton Klein.
A kiddush will follow the program in recognition of Mr. Kraiz-
man's long involvement in civil rights and anti-discrimination ac-
tivities.

Emanu-El will give a book review 9:30
am. Sunday, Nov. 24, at the temple.

Jewish Federation Young Adult Divi-

Day School

Akiva Hebrew Day School recently inaugurated its Middot
Tovot Tree. Children who do particularly kind and helpful
things receive a leaf bearing his/her name to add to the tree at
the weekly Friday assembly. Pictured in front of the tree are
second-grader Kayla Carmen and fifth-graders Yudie Reinitz,
Josh Faber and Daphna Cohen.
