field, died Nov. 14.
He is survived by his son,

AARON E. ROSE, 92, of

Southfield, died Nov. 12. Mr.
Rose was a retired supermar-
ket owner. He was a member
of Congregation Shaarey
Zedek and Tikvah Lodge of
B'nai B'rith.
Mr. Rose is survived by his
wife of 61 years, Rose Rose;
daughter and son-in-law, Ju-
dith and Joel Adelman of
Birmingham; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Martin and Julie
Rose of Atlanta; grandchil-
dren, Mark and Tracy Burn-
stein, Alan Burnstein, Linda
and Steven Folkman, Laurel
Adelman and Richard Mill-
iron, Jeffrey Adelman, Michael
Adelman, Elizabeth Adelman,
Marcy Adelman, David and
Mellisa Rose, Steven Rose and
Lisa Rose; great-grandson,
Sam Rose; sister, Sally Meral
of Deerfield, Fla. He was the
loving father of the late Ellen
Burnstein.

LEO DORMAN SHAFFER,

93, of Royal Palm Beach, Fla.,
died Nov. 19. Mr. Shaffer was
a General Motors machine op-
erator. He was active in labor,
civic, social and political circles
in Michigan and Florida.
Mr. Shaffer was the past
president of the Detroit UAW
Local 163 and well as holding
all other offices. He was an or-
ganizer and past president of
Citizens for Open Government
of Royal Palm Beach, Fla. In
1974, Mr. Shaffer was the
president and founder of Mid-
County Medical Center, a con-
sumer owned and consumer
operated non-profit health care
facility in West Palm Beach.
He was the director of West
Palm Beach Retirees Service
Center, board member of the
Indian River UAW Retired
Workers Council in Stewart,
Fla., past president of the Con-
do Association in Royal Palm
Beach, past president of Mid-
County Democratic Club in
Palm Beach County, past vice
president of Royal Palm Beach
Lions Club, member of the
Leonard Friedman Lodge of
B'nai B'rith and a member of
the Royal Palm Beach Golf
and Country Club.
Mr. Shaffer is survived by
his sons and daughters-in-law,
Robert and Nancy of Detroit,
Leo and Marie of Canton; sev-
en grandchildren and 16 great-
grandchildren. He was the
beloved husband of the late
Rose Shaffer and the loving fa-
ther of the late Jane Hodder.
Interment at Beth El Memo-
rial Park Cemetery. Contribu-
tions may be made to the Mid-
County Medical Center, 8190
Okeechobee Boulevard, West
Palin Beach, FL 33411.

EDYTHE B. ROSNER, 72, of

Margate, Fla., died Nov. 18.
Mrs. Rosner was a secretary
for the Jewish Community
Center in Oak Park and the
Oak Park School System. She
was also a past president of
Hadassah.
Mrs. Rosner is survived by
her daughters and sons-in-law,
Eileen and Steven Gottlieb of
Troy, Janis and Keith Shild of
Farmington Hills; grandchil-
dren, Stacey, Jason and Alli-
son; brother and sister-in-law,
Morris and Adeie Bonin of Tuc-
son, Ariz.; sister and brother-
in-law, Violet and Charles
Cash of Tamarac, Fla. She was
the beloved wife of the late
Jack Marvin Rosner.
Interment at Beth Abraham
