Allan, President Daily 'Til 5:30 Jerusalem (JTA) — Israel's do- mestic security service has asked the High Court of Justice for permission to use "moderate physical force" in the interrogation of a Palestinian de- tainee. According to the Shin Bet, Is- lamic Jihad member Muham- mad Abdel Aziz Khamadan had "essential" information on a ter- rorist attack planned for the near future. Earlier, the court issued a temporary ban on the use of physical force until it ruled on a petition submitted by Mr. Khamadan.
