THE WOMEN OF MAIMONIDES MEDICAL SOCIETY
The Women of Maimonides Medical Society was created over
70 years ago as an auxiliary of The Maimonides Medical Society,
then evolved into an organization with an interest and awareness
of local, national and world events.
The objective of The Women of Maimonides Medical Society is
to raise funds annually with the proceeds allocated exclusively to
medical scholarships and projects.
Locally, the Women of Maimonides Medical Society provides
interest-free loans to medical and osteopathic students in
Michigan and Israel.
Contributions to The Women of Maimonides Medical Society
are an ideal way to honor or memorialize relatives and friends.
Comprised of Jewish women physicians and the spouses of
Jewish M.D.s and D.O.s, those who fit the above-mentioned
categories are always welcome as new members.

ANN D. BERKE, 94, of South-
field, died Nov. 6. Mrs. Berke
was a purchasing agent for the
Red Cross. She was a member
of Hadassah and the Congrega-
tion Shaarey Zedek Sisterhood.
Mrs. Berke is survived by her

nati; daughter, Ilene of South-
field; grandchildren, Debra and
