Yiddish Films
At Oneg

An evening of Yiddish film will
be held at the next Oneg Shab-
bat of the Sholem Aleichem In-
stitute 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at
Franklin Pointe clubhouse.
The double feature will include
Tevye Der Milkhiker with Mau-
rice Schwartz and Jewish Gou-
chos, a documentary on Eastern
European Jews who fled to the
pampas of Argentina.

Observance

The Flint Jewish Federation
Jewish Community Relations
Committee-Special Events Task
Force will remember Kristall-
nacht (the night of broken glass)
with a memorial service 6 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 9, at Congrega-
tion Beth Israel.
The service will begin with
minyan and Havadalah fol-
lowed by the candlelight memo-
rial service. Light refreshments
will follow.
