Events Calendar

Michigan State Hillel has set the
following events for the next
week. At 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov.
10, the Jewish Studies fall brunch
will be held at the Kellogg Cen-
ter; Professor Deborah Dash
Moore will give a talk titled "Meet
Me in Miami: Jewish Migration
After World War H." At 12:30 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 11, Rabbi Phil Co-
hen will teach an Introduction to
Judaism class at the Illinois room
of the Union. At 12:30 p.m. Tues-
I day, Nov. 12, the Faculty Lun-
cheon will be at Hillel; Rabbi
Simkha Y. Weintraub will speak
on "Judaism and Healing." A do-
nation of $3.50 is requested. The
Frosh coffee house will be 8:30
p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at Espres-
so Royale. Thursday, Nov. 14 is
Hillel bar night with Grad/Law
bar night 9 p.m. at the Blue Coy-
ote, and Greek Bar night 9 p.m.
at Small Planet. At 6:15 p.m. Fri-
day, Nov. 15, we will have a learn-
er's service and dinner at Hillel.
After dinner, Mike Harmatz will
speak about his experience at the
Iron Man competition in Hawaii.
Call the hotline, 336-0390, to
make reservations. At 9 p.m. Sat-
u•day, Nov. 16, at Shaarey Zedek
synagogue, Hillel will sponsor a
young adult retro party.

Games Night

Adat Shalom Synagogues Men's
Club and CHaZaKaH seniors will
co-sponsor a Gala Games Night
7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at
the synagogue.
There is no charge for paid-up
Men's Club or CHaZaKaH mem-
bers. (This year's new Adat
Shalom members are considered
"paid-up".) For all others, there is
a $5 charge. The community is
welcome. Reservations are not re-
