Roger Kamenetz, poet, professor,
performer and author of The Jew in
the Lotus, will appear at U-M's Hil-

book tells the story of a historic di-
alogue between religious Jews and
the Dalai Lama of Tibet, interview-
ing Jews who practice Buddhism
along the way. His talk will probe
the mystical connection between Ju-
