Michigan State Hillel will offer
the following events.
Bob Alper will do a show 7:30
p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at Shaarey
Zedek.
At 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4,
Rabbi J will hold a "Stump the
Rabbi" session. He will provide a
deli dinner. At 6 p.m. Tuesday,
Nov. 5, at Tripper's, the Jewish
Law Students Association will
have a pool night. Also that
evening, the freshman roving cof-
fee house will meet 8:30 p.m. at
Beaner's on Grand River.
At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7,
there will be a Kristallnacht com-
memoration at the Union. MSU
Hillel will meet for Shabbat din-
ner and services starting at 6:15
p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8.
Machon Offers
Tour, Lectures
Machon L'Torah will offer an Is-
rael winter learning tour for stu-
dents and young professionals.
The tour, led by Rabbi Ja-
cobovitz, will include tours
throughout the country, lectures
and discussion interaction with
Israeli families. The group will
be based at the Heritage House
Hostel in the Old City of
Jerusalem.
The tour will depart Detroit on
Sunday, Dec. 22, and will return
on Friday, Jan. 3. Call for an ap-

Casino Night
Hillel of Metro Detroit will hold
a Casino Night 9 p.m. Saturday,
Nov. 16, at Congregation Beth
Abraham Hillel Moses. The event
will feature casino games and
prizes. The cost will be discount-
ed if a participant brings a new
toy for donation to needy chil-
dren.
On Sunday, Nov. 10, HMD
will co-sponsor Dr. Ruth West-
heimer at a young adult dessert
reception preceding Dr. Ruth's
speech at Maple-Drake.
