Detroit's Longest Running Musical

Dr. Gary Faber and Sandi
Faber will present a program on
effective parenting, 7:30-9 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Temple Is-
rael. Dr. Faber received his doc-
torate in education from Wayne
State University in 1978. He
has served as the principal of
West Bloomfield High School
and is the deputy superinten-
dent in the West Bloomfield
school district.
Sandi Faber received a mas-
ter of science degree in educa-
tional administration from
Wayne State University and
master of arts degree in coun-
seling from Oakland Universi-
ty. She has been a classroom
teacher, a special educator,
counselor and school adminis-
trator. She is a licensed profes-
sional counselor with the State
of Michigan and is the principal
of University Hills Elementary
School in the Rochester Com-
munity schools.
The program is free of charge
and open to the community.

The Cohn-Haddow Center for
Judaic Studies at Wayne State
University will sponsor two lec-
tures by Dr. Gershon Green-
berg, professor of philosophy
and religion at the American
University, Washington, D.C.
Professor Greenberg has writ-
ten extensively on Orthodoxy
and the Holocaust and has lec-
tured in Israel, Germany, Eng-
land and the U.S. He was the
recipient of the Skirball and Co-
lumbia University's President's
Fellowships, and was honored
by the National Foundation for
Jewish Culture.
At 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10,
at the JPM JCC, Professor
Greenberg will discuss "Spiri-
tuality and Rebirth: The Revival
of Orthodox Religious Thought
in the D.P. [Displaced Persons]
Camps." The lecture is co-spon-
sored by Congregation Or
Chadash. Light refreshments

Detroit. Lunch is available for
