Temple Israel will host a panel
discussion and series of work-
shops from 6:45-8:30 p.m. Thurs-
day, Nov. 7, on the issues of death
and dying from a Jewish per-
spective. Panelists and workshop
leaders include Rabbi Paul M.
Yedwab; Rabbi Joshua L. Ben-
nett; Frances Pearlman, director
of education at Temple Israel;
Stephen M. Feldman, a partner
at the law firm of Finkel, White-
field, Selik, Raymond, Ferara and
Feldman; and Rabbi Bunny
Freedman, director of the Jewish
Hospice program.
Following presentations by the
panelists, each will lead a work-
shop on the following subject: the
Jewish perspective on life after
death, Jewish values and assist-
ed suicide, ethical wills, living
wills and Jewish hospice.
The program is open to the
community and offered free of
charge. A $5 donation to Jewish
Hospice is suggested. For infor-
