Adult Classes

There are openings in fall class-
es at Kollel Moshe, Congregation
B'nai Moshe's new adult Jewish
learning center.
"To the Golden Land," is a
four-part American Jewish his-
tory series taught by Alvin Gold-
man. It meets 7:30-9 p.m. on
Monday nights, Oct. 28 and Nov.
4. There is a charge. Mr. Gold-
man will lead a second Monday
night study series titled, "From
Downtown to the Suburbs," be-
ginning 7:30-9 p.m. Nov. 11 and
continuing on Nov. 18, 25 and
Dec. 2. There is a charge.
Rabbi Elliot Pachter will lead
a study series on the Book of
Psalms (Sefer Tehillim) 10:30-
11:30 a.m. on Wednesday morn-
ings.
Leonard I. Wanetik will teach
a Sunday morning class on the
Torah portion of the week from
9:30 to 10:30 a.m. There is a
charge for both of these classes.
There are also openings in all
three adult Hebrew reading
classes. Beginner Hebrew Read-
ing meets on Thursday nights
from 7:30 to 9 p.m. with Ahuva
Newman. There are two "Beyond
Beginner" classes, for those who
have already studies Hebrew for
one year. One class meets on

Series Starts

Congregation Beth Achim will
host Book Bites, a discussion
series, at 7:30 p.m. on Monday,
