sent a three-session workshop
for parents of children with At-
tention Deficit Disorders 7 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 7, 14, and 21 at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
The workshop will target spe-
cific concerns related to parent-
ing children with this diagnosis.
There will also be opportunities
for supportive exchange be-
tween the parents.
This workshop is co-spon-
sored by Adat Shalom Syna-
gogue. The fee is $25. To

Teachers Plan
Annual Workshop

"You Shall Be a Blessing" is the
theme of the annual day of pro-
fessional enrichment for Jewish
educators sponsored by the
Agency for Jewish Education.
This year's conference is sched-
uled for 8:30 a.m.-2:15 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 31, at Temple Is-
rael.
The morning will begin with
"A Rainbow Full of Blessings,"
a presentation by Temple Is-
rael's Rabbi Joshua Bennett.
Immediately following, partici-
pants will select from a variety
of workshops.
The conference is in coopera-
tion with the Jewish Nursery
School Directors Association.
There is a fee of $15 which in-
cludes a continental breakfast
lunch. For information, contact

Support Groups

SPACE, a community service of
National Council Of Jewish
Women/Greater Detroit Section
will sponsor the following sup-
port groups:
Divorce support groups, 7:30-
9:30 p.m. on Mondays, Nov. 4,
11, 17 and 25; at the SPACE of-
fice, 30233 Southfield, Suite 100,
Southfield. There will be three
groups - Level 1 (initial stages
of divorce, shock); Level 2 (go-
ing through the divorce process
mourning for the relationship,
dividing friends, family; and
Level 3 - Moving-on (post di-
vorce). Pre-registration is re-
quired. Call the SPACE office,

SPACE will have a drop-in
group that will be a divorce/sep-
aration discussion group every
