IRA KAUFMAN

( 1896-1986)

Ira Kaufman established a legacy of
service, compassion and trust with
the Detroit Jewish community which
remains unsurpassed.

RUTH K. ALLAUN, 90, of

Fenton, died Oct. 22. For 45
years, Mrs. Allaun was an exec-
utive for the Metropolitan Art
Studio on Gratiot. She was a
member of the Oakland Centu-
ry Lodge of B'nai B'rith, Temple
Beth El and past officer of
Women's American ORT.
Mrs. Allaun is survived by
her daughter, Joy Allaun of
Fenton; and sister, Shirley
Nusholtz of Huntington Woods.
Mrs. Allaun was the beloved
wife of the late Bernard S. Al-
laun and the dear sister of the
late Kalman Altschuler. Inter-
ment at Beth El Memorial
Park.

Throughout the generations, The IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL
has extended our hand as a symbol of compassion.
