will host a sneak preview of Detroiter
Harvey Ovshinsky's film, Off the Wall:
A Creative Journey, telling the story of
former Franklin resident and sculptor
Arthur Schneider (whose work can be
found at Shaarey Zedek and Temple
Beth El among others), his friendship
with Ovshinsky and their experience
working together. The film will be
shown with the Oscar-nominated
short, Never Give Up: The Odyssey of
Herbert Zipper, about a Dachau sur-
vivor who brings music education to
