SUPER SUNDAY page 10

Last year's total Campaign goal
was $27.8 million. Although the
board of governors have not ap-
proved the final goal for this year,
it is expected to be $28.5 million.
"Every penny is spent on help-
ing Jews around the world," Ms.
Citrin said.
The 12-hour-long Super Sun-
day event attracted volunteers

from 43 organizations — from
Adat Shalom Synagogue to
Young Israel of Southfield, from
Sinai Hospital to Fresh Air So-
ciety. Also this year, 20 young-
sters who traveled to Israel on the
Miracle Mission for Teens spent
two hours phoning previous con-
tributors to thank them for their
donations. ❑
