The tribute, under the auspices of the Jewish National Fund, has been funded by Robert's parents, Barbara and Larry Can- tor, and sisters Susie, Wendy, Nancy, Jody and Marcy. A native of Farmington Hills, the late Mr. Cantor, who died this year, worked as a masseur at the Kiva Retreat House in Santa Cruz, Calif. He also worked at the Well Within and had a private massage practice. AZM Installs Ann Barnett The American Zionist Movement Michigan Region installed new officers Oct. 8, at the Agency for Jewish Education. Ann Barnett will serve as the new president, Zvi Strom is vice- president, Sara Schiff is treasur- er, and Roz Bressler is administrative assistant. Committee chairpersons for the 1996-97 year will be Adele Bayer, Harmon Bayer, Hymie Cutler, Helen Naimark, Norman Naimark, Leon Warshay and Shoshana Wolok. Michael Dallen, president of Americans for a Safe Israel, was installing officer, and Jeff Kaye, the community shaliach from Is- rael, was guest speaker. Ms. Barnett helped establish the multi-cultural curriculum for the State of Michigan, and has served as chairperson of the Col- lege Outreach Committee of the AZM for several years. She is a life member of Na'amat, Hadas- sah and Jewish National Fund, and has written a book stressing the contributions of the Jewish people to America.
