LIFE Program
Shabbat Dinner

Congregation B'nai Moshe's LIFE
(Learning Is a Family Experience)
Program will have a family Shab-
bat dinner and service 6 p.m. Fri-
day, Oct. 18.
The cost is $12.50 for adults
and $6.60 for children under 13.
There is no charge for students
enrolled in the LIFE program.
The LIFE program at B'nai
Moshe is a family-centered pro-
gram for grades 5 through 12.
Families who would like to learn
more about the program and
B'nai Moshe are invited. Reser-
vations are required. For infor-

Cantor's Day

Congregation Beth Achim will
honor Cantor Max Shimansky on
the occasion of his 60th birthday
and 15th anniversary with the
congregation with a special kid-
dush following Shabbat services
Saturday, Oct. 12.
Cantor Shimansky will read
the Haftorah and following the
service he will be presented with
a leaf on the synagogue's Tree of
Life.
