Pont-Goldberg

Nancy Beth Pont and Robert Ira
Goldberg were recently married
at Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
Rabbis Irwin Groner, William
Gershon and Leonardo Bitran,
and Cantors Chaim Najman and
Sidney Rube officiated. Also par-
ticipating in the ceremony was
the bride's brother, Michael Pont,
a rabbinical student at the Jew-
ish Theological Seminary.
Nancy is the daughter of Janet
and Herbert Pont of Southfield.
Robert is the son of Marilyn and
Harry Goldberg of Southfield.
Laurel Cohen was the maid of
honor. Bridesmaids include
Sheila Winkelman and Natalie
Pont, sisters-in-law of the bride;
Elaine Conroy and Laurie Gold-
berg, sisters of the groom; Sue

Goldberg, sister-in-law of the
groom; and Laurie Najm, long-
time friend of the bride.
Dr. Stephen Gold was the best d
man. Groomsmen included Allan
Goldberg, brother of the groom;
Richard Conroy, brother-in-law
of the groom; Dr. Edward Pont
and Michael Pont, brothers of the
bride; and Dr. Glenn Kaye.
Also participating in the cer-
emony were the bride's grand-
parents, Ruth and Irving
Waserman; and the bride's great-
aunt, Lee Schweikart. The bride A
is also the grandaughter of G-oldiel
and Phillip Pont.
Following a honeymoon in San
Francisco, the couple resides in
Southfield.
