The program, the first presentation of the "Parents Can ,DLearn, Too" series, is scheduled (for 9:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at the synagogue. Dr. Lewis is the director of marketing services and commu- nications for the Royal Mac- cabbees Life Insurance Company in Southfield. He is also the founder and publisher of Singlish Publications, and author of The Join In, Participate Singalong \— Hagadah, The Join-In, Partici- pate, Singalong Bircon Hamazot, and the upcoming Friday Night Service. During the High Holidays, Dr. Lewis served as cantor at the Jimmy Prentis Morris Jewish Community Center. Dr. Lewis will explore the im- portant parts of the Shabbat ser- vice. The "Parents Can Learn, Too" monthly programs are free to the general public, but are expecial- ly intended for parents of children attending religious schools in the Detroit area.
