Congregation B'nai Moshe is
launching Kolel Moshe, an ex-
tensive program of adult Jewish
learning classes, study groups,
and special events beginning
Sunday, Oct. 13.
Kolel Moshe is open to the
community regardless of affilia-
tion or level of previous Jewish
education. Fall classes and pro-
grams will be held on Sunday
mornings, Sunday evenings,
Monday evenings, Tuesday and
Wednesday mornings, and
Thursday evenings, in addition
to special learning opportunities
on Shabbat. Except where oth-
erwise noted, all classes, pro-
grams, and special events will
take place at B'nai Moshe.

The senior group and social ac-
tion committee of Temple
Emanu-El will remember the
500 American Jewish troops sta-
tioned worldwide with a Barton's
candy treat for Chanukah, which
begins this year on Dec. 5.
The Jewish Welfare Board of
New York.will ship the boxed
candy to Jewish chaplains from
Okinawa to Europe to the
Mideast for distribution to Jew-
ish forces.
Community members inter-
ested in sending a Chanukah
treat to the troops through this
project should mail or drop off
a check for $10 per box payable
