Steve Goldberg, son of original
owners Jack and Harriet Gold-
berg, had ideas galore floating in
him when he took over Stage &
Co. on the Boardwalk, Orchard
Lake Road south of Maple, in
April 1994.
Among his main objectives was
to make the restaurant a more
pleasant and easier place for em-
ployees to work ... with smoother
accessibility for his customers.
To accomplish this, Steve did a
remarkable thing ... He comput-
erized an institution.
The point-of-sales computer sys-
tem at Stage & Co. brings order
to the previous deli frenzy.
