Gila Almagor
Ms. Almagor began her career
at 17 and has performed in all
of the theaters in Israel, playing
leading roles in many classics.
She also has appeared in more
than 10 movies and has won Is-
rael's David's Harp award 10
times for her acting on stage and
screen. In addition, she has been
nominated for best actress by
the Israel Film Institute.
In 1994, she founded the Gila
Almagor's Wishes Foundation,
a non-profit society which com-
forts children with severe dis-
eases and fulfills their wishes.
She recently headed the Cancer
Association in Tel Aviv.
