Your benefits
have run out,
you're too old to
work, and you're
too sick to apply
for citizenship.

What now? Head back to the old country?

Cutbacks in government assistance to legal immigrants and refugees will
hurt those least able to care for themselves. When they turn to our Jew-
ish community for help, will the help be there?

Our Jewish community of Detroit has a long memory: Our own immigrant
ancestors created this community and its network of social services for
individuals and families in need.

Throwing a lifeline to people who need us is what the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign is all about.

Be a life saver on Super Sunday, October 13 with your gift to the 1997
Allied Jewish Campaign.
