ber Coffee House Night will be

Leadership Network will co-
sponsor a haride and bonfire at

will celebrate
70 years of con-
tinuous service
to the Jewish
students of University of Michi-
gan and the Ann Arbor Jewish
community this fall. A gala din-
ner and program will be held on
Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Hotel
Baronette at 12 Oaks Mall.
The program will honor Man-
dell Berman, a lifelong leader in
the Jewish local and national
community; the man whose
name appears on the front of the
present Hillel building and who
spearheaded the effort that
raised over 3.5 million dollars to
build the building, Carol Amster,
a leader in the Ann Arbor Jew-
ish and civic community for many
years and a staunch supporter of
Hillel's agenda; and Michael
Brooks, the executive director at
U-M Hillel for the past 16 years.
The guest speakers will be
Richard M. Joel, president of Hil-
lel, the Foundation for Jewish
Campus Life and International
director of the B'nai B'rith Hillel
Foundations; and Dr. Homer
Neal, the new pesident of the
University of Michigan.
