serving the Sabbath — require
special accommodations by their
bosses.
Nobody seriously expects the
measure, authored by Rep. Jer-
rold Nadler, D-N.Y., and intro-
duced in both Houses last week,
to advance before legislators
beat a hasty retreat. Instead, the
goal is to begin assembling a
coalition that supporters hope
will get the bill moving in the
