How do we discover how the world
treated us as a people before and after
the Holocaust?

The same way we began as a people.

With a book.

T he Holocaust Memorial Center's 12th Anniversary Dinner celebrates the

publication of The World Reacts to the Holocaust. An unparalleled look at the impact
of the Holocaust in 22 separate countries, yesterday and today.

The theme for this year's Anniversary Dinner is "A Celebration of Achievements,"
noting the HMC's successful role in completing The World Reacts to the Holocaust.

.

Top scholars from many countries were tapped for this project, edited by noted
historian David S. Wyman. Holocaust Memorial Center founder Rabbi Charles H.
Rosenzveig innovated and directed the project.

The dinner will also preview the Holocaust documentary "For Those We Remember."
It spotlights the HMC's educational impact and celebrates its ongoing mission: to
document the Holocaust, remember its victims, and celebrate the culture
that survived it.

Join Rabbi Rosenzveig, dinner chairman Alan Zekelman, Dr. Wyman,
and the honorable Robert E. Rubin as the community celebrates
the HMC's achievements.
