Marcia Applebaum Jewish Parenting Center exists for you, and all the other parents faced with the same concerns,
challenges, and questions about raising happy, productive, loving, caring and capable human beings, proud of their
Jewish heritage.

How Did I Become My Parents'
Parent?

Cooking Up Something Special
with Abba

Join us for an evening with Harriet Schiff, author of
How Did I Become My Parents' Parent? She will
explore the dilemmas that arise when your aging
relatives need your help. Learn how to act, what to
say, when to intervene — while keeping your life
intact. This program is presented in co-operation
with NCJW/SPACE for Changing Families.

Special time set aside for dads and their children ages
3-6. A perfect opportunity for dads to nourish and
nurture. Cook, create, and communicate in a warm
and healthy Jewish environment away from siblings
and other distractions.

You Gotta Have Art

Discover the joys of appreciating and creating art at
this exciting Adult-Child workshop. This class is for
mom, dad, grandma or grandpa and your 3-5 year old
child. Painting, collage and clay will be introduced.
Please wear appropriate clothes and bring smocks for
you and your child. Class size is limited.

perspective as a teacher. She is the 1996
Conservative Movement Scholar in Residence.

for parents of preschoolers. Learn why children
misbehave, and techniques to solve these problems.
