Wendy Wagenheim, legislative
director of the American Civil
Liberties Union of Michigan,
will address the Jewish Feder-
ation's Business and Profes-
sional Women at 6:30 p.m. on
Monday, Sept. 30, at Temple Is- ._

Prior to joining the ACLU
staff, Ms. Wagenheim was the
state public affairs ch a irwoman
for the National Council of Jew-
ish Women and is a member of
its national board. Her topic will
be "Warning: This Legislation
May Be Hazardous To Your
Rights."

The Men's Club of Congregation
B'nai Moshe will kick off its
1996-97 program year with a
mid-Sukkot dinner meeting on
Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 6:30 p.m.
President Joel Shayne will pre-
sent the "Year At A Glance," in-
cluding a Men's Club current
project, a sukkot-building re-
source service called "Sukk-0-
Rama" chaired by Dr. Ed
Klarman.
The cost is $5 per person. To
reserve for the dinner, leave a
message for Men's Club at the
shul office, 788-0600.

Publicity Deadlines

The normal deadline for local news and
publicity items is noon Thursday, eight
days prior to issue date. The deadline for
birth announcements is 10 a.m. Monday,
four days prior to issue date; out-of-town
obituaries, 10 a.m. Tuesday, three days
prior to issue date.
