nce again, our fearless
staff volunteered for a
grueling taste test. Not
many people can do
taste tests for chocolate prod-
ucts for three weeks in a row,
but we're not just any staff. We
are The Jewish News. And for
our readers, we will go to just
about any length.
For this test, we limited our-
selves to Godiva's fall collec-
tion, including the pumpkin
spice truffles and the brand
new Dessert Chocolat offer-
ings.
Tucked in sealed plastic
sheaths which are placed in
gold foil boxes, the dessert can-
dies come in pairs in three fla-
vors — strawberry cheesecake,
mochaccino mousse and creme
brulee. The new truffles fea-
ture a rich pumpkin mousse
enveloped in a sweet milk
chocolate shell.
Not all of the flavors re-
ceived a forks up rating.

Mochaccino mousse
It was a bit too rich.
Light but almost overpow-
ering as far as richness is
concerned. Forks down.
