Arnold Remer

Sharona Chapter, Na'amat USA
will feature Arnold Remer, Tole-
do graphic artist at its paid-up
membership event on Thursday,
Sept. 5, at 7 p.m. in the Crown
Pointe building.
Mr. Remer, who has exhibited
his Hebrew calligraphic seri-
graphs in the Midwest, will
demonstrate the art of Hebrew
calligraphy in his "Family Circle
of Life" and other works.
A petite buffet will be served.

JPM Plans
Weekly Events

The Senior Forum, formerly
known as the Center Men's Fo-
rum, is now open to women. This
group meets every Thursday at
10:30 a.m. David Weiner facili-
tates. There is no charge.
Weekly Erev Shabbat Services
with Cantor Max Shimansky are
on Fridays at 12:45 p.m.
The Wednesday Afternoon So-
cial is at 1 p.m. Broadway show
tunes and Yiddish melodies are
presented. Refreshments are
served. There is a 500 charge for
this event. Additional volunteer
entertainers are being sought.

A High Holiday Concert with
Marci Shulman will be at the
Jimmy Prentis Morris Jewish
Community Center on Thursday,
Sept. 5, at 1 p.m. Ms. Shulman,
a cantorial soloist, will entertain
with Hebrew and Yiddish songs
as well as show tunes from the
past and present. There is a
charge for non-members.
