The Marvin and Betty Danto
Family Health Care Center is a
165-bed facility located across
from Fleischman Residence. It is
owned and operated by Health
Care and Retirement Corporation
on land leased to HCR by the
United Jewish Foundation. The
70,000-square-foot health care
center is scheduled for completion
by the end of the year.
Marvin Dante has served the
community as a leader and vol-
unteer for more than three
decades. He has been on the Jew-
ish Federation and United Jew-
ish Foundation boards and was a
board member of both Fresh Air
Society and the Jewish Home for
Aged.
The Dante Family Health Care
Center will offer private and semi-
private rooms, rehabilitation ar-
eas, social areas, multi-purpose
rooms and secured outdoor court-
yards. The facility features mul-
tiple dining rooms and two large
kosher kitchens one meat and
one dairy.
In addition, there will be a
chapel for daily services and di-
viders that allow expansion for
a larger service. Volunteers will
run a gift shop and "nosh nook,"
as well as Jewish holiday cele-
brations and other observances.
