Auxiliary
Plans Meeting

The Auxiliary ofJewish Aged (for-
merly Auxiliary Jewish Home for
Aged) will dedicate its Mezuzah
Project at the opening meeting at
Fleischman Residence on Thurs-
day, Sept. 5. Wives of local rabbis
will be guests of honor.
The Mezuzah Project has pro-
vided new mezuzot for all the
doorposts at Fleischman Resi-
dence as an ongoing project.
The program will feature
"Women In Tzedakah," tradi-
tional to contemporary view-
points, with Rabbi Amy Brodsky
and Rebbetzin Chaya Sara Sil-
berberg as the guest speakers.

`Jewish Hour'
Moves Time

"The Jewish Hour," hosted by
Herschel Finman, will move to a
new day and time beginning
Sept. 5. The program will move
to Fridays from three to four p.m.
and will be retitled "Let's Get
Ready for Shabbos with Herschel
Finman."
The format of the one-hour pro-
gram will include a guest of in-
terest to the Jewish community
and the only source ofJewish mu-
sic of any kind in the Detroit area.
The show also will feature in-
sights into current events, news
from Israel, and a Chasidic story.
