On Aug. 12, at 1 p.m., the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Jewish Commu-
nity Center will present "To
Africa and Back," a slide show by
photographer Ethel Krause.
There is no charge for this pro-
gram.
The Boaz Siegel Cultural Fund
will present Marsha Rafel in
"Love, Laughter and Song" on
Thursday, Aug. 15, at JPM. This
is a free concert. The program will
begin at 1 p.m.

Talks Politics

The Shaarey Zedek Productions'
program for the month of August
features three guests in a pro-
gram called "Politics and Books."
Ruth Matar is one of the
founders of Women in Green,
who do not want the government
of Israel to give away land for
peace.
The second guest is Shmuel
Katz, a historian, author and po-
litical analyst. He discusses his
career and the political situation
in Israel.
Gladys Bernstein, president of
the group sponsoring the Bran-
deis Book Sale, is the third guest.
Ms. Bernstein tells of the origin
of the book sale and discusses the
volunteers.
