Drs. Laura H. Gruskin and
Jay E. Fisher will open their
shared obstetrics-gynecology
practice, West Oakland Ob-Gyn,
in Farmington Hills on Aug. 5.
Dr. Mitchell Rosenthal, vice
president of research and educa-
tion at Rehabilitation Institute
of Michigan, has been elected to
a three-year term to the Ameri-
can Psychological Association's
(APA) council of representatives.
Dr. Rosenthal represents the
division of rehabilitation psy-
chology, which he had previous-
ly served as president in 1992.

Dr. Gruskin is a graduate of
the University of Michigan
School of Medicine; Dr. Fisher is
a graduate of Wayne State Uni-
versity School of Medicine.
Dr. Mitchell Rosenthal
In addition to his position at
Rehabilitation Institute of Michi-
gan, Dr. Rosenthal also serves as
professor and associate chairman
of the department of physical
medicine and rehabilitation at
Wayne State University.

Dr. Jay E. Fisher
The practice will provide com-
prehensive health care for women,
including routine and specialized
gynecologic care; prenatal and ob-
stetrical care; cancer screenings;
annual physical exams including
Pap smears, breast exams and
mammograms; and treatment of
PMS and menopause. Both doc-
tors are on staff at William Beau-
mont Hospital in Royal Oak.
