West Bloomfield, died July 27.
Mr. Burrows was a bank col-
lection officer and a member of
B'nai B'rith. He was the dear
brother of the late Newton
Burrows.
Mr. Burrows is survived by

Nancy Faine, Dr. Neil and

DR. HARVEY WILLIAM
COLE, 73, of West Bloomfield,
died July 19. Dr. Cole was
born in Windsor and became a
U.S. citizen following his ser-
vice in the U.S. Army during
World War II; he received two
purple hearts. He graduated
from the University of Chicago
School of Optometry following
the war. He maintained an of-
fice on Griswold in Detroit for
more than 40 years and had
other offices on Gratiot and in
Birmingham. Dr. Cold was a
member of Temple Israel,
Knollwood Country Club, Tam
O'Shanter Country Club; he
was active with the Juvenile
Diabetes Association.
Dr. Cole was the beloved
husband of the late Shirlee
Cole. He is survived by his
beloved wife, Estelle; daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Cindy
Cole and Marvin Shifman of

Southfield, Dennis Geer of Uti-
ca, Jack and Joanna Geer of
Southfield; grandchildren,
Sabrina and Shane Lesser,
Steven and Jessie Geer and
