Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Spoon of
West Bloomfield are delighted to
announce the engagement of her
daughter, Marisa Faith Edel-
man, to Dr. Seth Howard For-
man, son of Dr. and Mrs. Joel
Forman of Farmington Hills.
Marisa also is the daughter of the
late Dr. Lawrence Bruce Edel-
man.
Marisa will graduate from
Michigan State University's
James Madison College with a
degree in political theory and con-
stitutional democracy. She plans
to attend law school and acquire
a Ph.D. in an area of political sci-
ence. Seth earned his bachelor of
science from Michigan State Uni-
versity and earned his medical
doctor from Wayne State Uni-
versity School of Medicine. Seth
is a pediatric resident at Chil-
dren's Hospital of Michigan.
A November wedding is
planned at Temple Beth El.
