Group meets alternate Mondays

"The Doctor Is In" is a week-
ly health screening available on
Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. Dr.
Aubrey Goldman and Shirley
Kramer, in cooperation with
Sinai Hospital, offer blood pres-
sure and fasting blood sugars at
no charge.
Socials are every Wednesday
at 1 p.m. Music is provided by
local entertainers.
The JPM JCC and First of
America Bank will host "In-
vestment Basics for Seniors" on
July 15, at noon. This program
will feature financial service con-
sultants who will explain in-
vestment alternatives and how
they work. A complimentary
luncheon will be provided. Re-

serve by July 10. There' is no
charge.
On July 18, at 1 p.m., Charles
and Frances Driker Yiddish Cul-
ture Fund Concert will feature
Cantor David Gutman, who will
be accompanied by Zina As-
trakhan. There is no charge.

JNF Holds
Israel Mission

The Jewish National Fund's
Artzenu Yisrael VI National Fu-
ture Leadership Mission to Is-
rael will be Oct. 20-31. The
mission is open to individuals
between the ages of 25 and 40.
The price is $1599 pus a min-
imum pledge of $500. This in-
cludes all transportation (except
travel to and from JFK airport),
hotel accommodations (single
supplement additional), most
meals, and daily programming
with guides.

presented a check for $10,000 to Mort Plotnick, executive vice president of the
Jewish Community Center, and a check for $10,000 to Joyce Keller, executive
director of JARC. Presentations were made by President Helen Rice and Vice
