The Completion House, a drug
rehabilitation center in Pontiac,
was recently renamed the Lin-
er House in memory of Barry
Liner, a Berkley resident who
died last year at the age of 37.
His wife, Nickki Liner, and
their son, Zachary, attended a
ceremony recently to rename the
building, which serves indigent
people recovering from drug ad-
diction. Also attending the cer-
emony were Mr. Liner's sisters,
Judith Schultz and Marilyn
Hortick, and his nieces, Terri
Stearn and Debbie Hortick.
Mr. Liner was the director of
the program for six years prior
to his death and was highly re-
garded by his colleagues and pa-
tients for his understanding and
success with drug-dependent in-
dividuals.
Donations in his honor may
be made to Liner House, 123
University, Pontiac, MI 48342.

Dr. Joseph C. Honet, chair-

man of the department of phys-
ical medicine and rehabilitation
at Sinai Hospital, has been re-
elected to a second term as a di-
rector of the American Board of
Physical Medicine and Rehabil-
itation.
Dr. Honet, who has been on
the staff of Sinai since 1967, has
served as chairman of the resi-
dency review committee for
physical medicine and rehabili-
tation since 1988. He is a resi-
dent of Franklin. ❑

nett completed an internship,
and residency in internal med-

Art Huber III was promoted to

Mr. Huber, a resident of Wa-
terford, served previously as
Sinai facility manager. He will
