IRA KAUFMAN
(1896-1986)

Ira Kaufman established a legacy of
service, compassion and trust with
the Detroit Jewish community which
remains unsurpassed.

RAE BESWICK, 96, of Oak
Park, died June 27. Mrs.
Beswick is survived by her
daughter, Gail Osborne of Ma-
rina Del Rey, Calif.; nieces,
Maxine Myers of Arizona, Car-
ol Shugar of Nevada, Esther
English of Toronto, Ontario,
Canada.
Contributions may be made
to a charity of one's choice. Ser-
vices and interment were held
at Machpelah Cemetery in
Ferndale. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

ANN FISHIVIAN, 78, of
Southfield, died June 27. Mrs.
Fishman was a member of
B'nai Brith, Hadassah and Pi-
oneer Women.
She is survived by her hus-
band, Melvin; daughter, Ar-
lene of Windsor, Ontario,
Canada; nieces and nephews.
Contributions may be directed
to a charity of one's choice. In-
terment at Hebrew Memorial
Park Cemetery. Arrangements
