JEWISH CENTER

Machon L'Torah, the Jewish
Learning Network of Michigan,
will host Rabbi Mordechai Neu-
groschel, dean of Torah V'Emu-
nah Institute and senior
lecturer for Arachim Interna-
tional at an evening seminar,
"The Mysteries of The Torah,"
at Machon LTorah, 15221 West
10 Mile Road in Oak Park, Mon-
day, July 1, at 7:30 p.m. Rabbi
Neugroschel will discuss some
scientific and archaeologicals -Z\
findings.
The first lecture will be "The
Correlation of Scientific and Ar-
chaeological Findings With Bib-
lical Records" followed by "A
Futuristic View of Jewish Des-
tiny." Refreshments will be

Machon L'Torah will hold a
program on Sunday, June 30, at
7:30 p.m. for the Russian out-
reach division, which will in-
clude an educational lecture by
Rabbi Avraham Jacobovitz. Mr.
Roman Lundin will translate
the lecture into Russian. The
event will be at Machon. Re-
freshments will be served. There
is no charge.

Publicity Deadlines

The normal deadline for local news and
publicity items is noon Thursday, eight
days prior to issue date. The deadline for
birth announcements is 10 a.m. Monday,
four days prior to issue date; out-of-town
obituaries, 10 a.m. Tuesday, three days
prior to issue date.
