Bar Mitzvah

Joel Jackson

Joel Eric Jackson of West Bloom-
field will be bar mitzvah at Adat
Shalom Synagogue on June 29.
Rabbi Spectre and Cantor Glantz
will lead services.
Participating in the ceremony
will be Joel's parents, Lisa and
Larry Jackson, as well as his
brothers, Jared and Steven.
Proud grandparents are Norma
and Sol Stoller of West Bloom-
field and Evelyn and Robert
Jackson of Lake Wales, Fla.
Joel is a student at Orchard
Lake Middle School and attends
Hebrew school -at Adat Shalom.
He is active in band and enjoys
playing on baseball and soccer
leagues.

General Levran

PNAI (Parents of North Ameri-
can Israelis) will host retired
Brigadier-General Aharon Lev-
ran at its Wednesday, July 10,
meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Max
Fisher Building.
Aharon Levran is a strategic
commentator on the Israeli me-
dia. He is also a free lance asso-
ciate with the Center for
Strategic Studies at Bar-Ilan
University.
The meeting is open to the
